The program will discuss research showing why we have implicit biases and will describe the principal types of unconscious biases impacting the practice of law. It will focus on how implicit bias can lead law firms to make bad decisions that can harm them financially, why traditional implicit bias training doesn’t work, and how law firms can implement research-based training that helps us re-wire our brains, promotes diversity and innovation, and gives us a competitive advantage in the market for legal services. *This course qualifies for Implicit Bias requirement (CA) LSO: This program contains 1 hour of EDI Professionalism Content.
