About This Course

The General Regulations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act set out what Prince Edward Island workplaces must do in order to provide a workplace free from violence. These regulations also describe safety requirements for working alone. The Workplace Harassment Regulations define requirements for prevention of harassment in the workplace. This course deals with general information such as the law, how to recognize warning signs, and how to respond to violence and harassment in the workplace.
